Recipes

I love flicking through my cookery books (Nigella, Delia, and Mary Berry being ranked there at the top), scrolling through the web or browsing magazines in an attempt to glean some inspiration, and some of the dishes (or adaptations of) will come from here. Equally friends and family (thank you lovelies) play a huge part in my culinary attempts...mmm that was delish... please can I have a copy of your recipe....you get the picture.

I not only want to keep a record of my favourite dishes in this blog for various reasons, a source of inspiration for when my my weekly meal plan draws a blank, and for you guys out there. But also for my boys (aka the taste testers). I know it's planning way, way ahead, but one day my little fledglings will fly the nest and think it would be great for them to have access to some of their favourite meals. (mmm makes me think should I go to basics and include how to boil and egg)

Firstly I just want to make it clear that I am by no means a cordon bleu chef....easy and simple (and tasty of course) is what I'm about, no complications! The recipes are simply family favourites selected over the years. More often than not I'll most likely have tweaked the recipe to suit, however that said I make no claim at all to have created or invented any of the recipes. Of course I'll put any reference to where it's come from... if there is one that is!!

So here goes, a record of my favourite meals...
